Lifestyle photography is certainly booming right now and it’s partly to do with social media, especially platforms such as Pinterest and Instagram. There are many lifestyle influencers on these platforms, sharing photographs of everyday scenes such as driving, coffee, food, fashion, shopping, travel and reading among lots of other everyday scenarios. With so much lifestyle content out there are we at our limit? No and the reason for this is because people are interested in how other people live, even if an Instagram feed is not a truly accurate reflection. Some say lifestyle photography is about flaunting your life, but it’s actually a great way to stay engaged as a photograph, even if it’s a hobby and produce photographs that you can share to inspire others. We predict there will always be lifestyle photography being published online, and it’s great because it’s something every type of individual can get involved in.
