The great thing about wearing a tie is that you can choose to wear them in so many different ways and get away with it. Below are three styles we recommend you try.
The easiest to tie is the four-in-hand knot as it’s asymmetrical. Basically meaning it’s hard to tie it badly as it’s already crooked! Great for the general occasion, we recommend tying it skinny/medium.
Another style of tie good for most occasions is the half Windsor knot which is symmetrical and a little bit chunkier. Don’t make the tie too wide, as this will take away the effect of the knot.
Appropriate more for the formal occasion, the full windsor is great with the right style of shirt. Make sure you use a longer tie though, as it requires an extra foot.
