Cleaning Suede Boots The Easy Way

Suede shoes may be beautiful on feet, but they’re also a pain to maintain due to their vulnerability. Scuffs and scratches are two of many different marks your suede shoes will most likely receive in their lifetime.

To clean dirt and scuff marks, you’ll need a suede brush and wait for your shoes to be dry. You can buy suede brushes from all good shoe shops. Brush very gently when removing dirt, doing so in the same direction. Do not brush back and forth as this will ruin the suede, if the suede’s grain isn’t pressed down in the first place.

If you have a scuff mark, then you can brush a bit harder, back and forth as the suede’s grain needs lifting. Another good tip, is using an eraser to get rid of marks that a brush can’t do.
